Faith in Site LLC believes that a strong technology foundation is very important. Every day there are new tools and technologies created for the internet, and even more are outdated and die off. As with most things, there is more than one way to build a website. In fact, you could build a website in dozens of languages and platforms. Which one do you choose?

Faith in Site LLC builds its’ web ministry sites on a Microsoft Foundation. Our sites are based upon the Microsoft .NET 3.5 framework. We incorporate other technologies into our sites as well. Some of them you might recognize, but they are all the top of their class.
Providing the data storage and recovery foundation is the powerful Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Each of our web ministries is database driven, meaning that the content visible on the website is completely up to date and highly upgradable. All of our sites are hosted on top class dedicated servers located in a secure and redundant data center. Our servers run on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and IIS7.
What does all this mean? Faith in Site LLC is committed to bringing churches the best of online technology and the most powerful tools on the market. This is not the cheapest way to build a website, but is the best.
We want to make sure that you understand that the important investment which is your online web ministry is founded upon a solid foundation of software and hardware.
Faith in Site LLC in coordination with its’ joint partner Daslos Studios LLC, has developed a customized and powerful website content management system called Spruance. With Spruance, never before has updating your web ministry been easier than it is now.
Spruance is the backbone of a Faith in Site web ministry website. Through it, you will be able to control all your text, images, audio files, videos, and all other files on your website. Spruance allows unlimited changes to the web content, and we encourage all of our clients to maintain an updated site. Changes made in Spruance are seen on the website instantly. There is no new language or code to learn to use Spruance. If you can understand a word processor, you will be fine.
What exactly is Spruance? Well, it is a web application that runs behind the scenes with various advanced tools within it to allow you the ability to make changes in real time to the ministry. You may access Spruance through a specific website address and with a secure username and password. You may make changes to your web ministry with Spruance, anytime and from any internet connection.
Spruance, now in its’ third full release has gone through many changes over the past several years. The current edition is written in the latest Microsoft framework and utilizes the latest Microsoft database server. Is this the cheapest way to build a website? No. But, when developing Faith in Site, we decided that our goal was to build advanced tools that could grow with a congregation in any number of ways. We would build the core to be expandable to allow you, the users, the decision making in the strategic direction. It is for that reason that we selected the most expandable, secure, and stable web technologies when building our tools.
Church Web Ministry packages have two prices that you will need to be aware of. The first being the development cost for the ministry itself. This is the price for the design, programming, and development of the website itself. This cost is due half upon the start of the development with the remainder due when the development has been completed and you are trained on Spruance and the new ministry. The second price is the hosting and licensing costs for the ministry, which are a monthly recurring cost.

Faith in Site LLC is dedicated to not only delivering advanced web ministry programs but supporting them as they grow in a church. We offer these support packages in order to give our clients the best value for the hours they need.
What do you mean by support?
Each site from Faith in Site LLC comes with basic support which include problems with installed components, tools, or pages. Basically, support of existing pages is already included.
Support packages are for things outside the daily operation of the web ministry. These are things outside the scope of the package, and for improvements, additional design, or for extra needed support. Here are some examples.
“We would like to change our design.”
“We would like to create a special page.”
“We would like an additional training time for new employees.”
“We would like to add membership levels to pages.”
“We would like to import all of our members from Excel into Spruance.”
The list goes on and on. We build out sites to grow and we encourage that. For anything outside the original scope of the project you would use support hours.
Support hours will be spent between three groups for any project that comes up:
When your church decides that it would like a change on the website for any reason you may use your support hours for that project. If you don’t have enough hours, you will have the option to increase your support hours on either a project level basis (bulk hours purchase) or increase your monthly contract allotment.
Each month you will receive a detailed report via email clearly describing service agreement activity for that month. The report will include details as to what hours were used for and remaining balance.
Pricing for support packages varies on the number of hours that is needed on a project basis.
